The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
